Lincoln and the Ladies: The Centennial in Norfolk Connecticut
1909 was the centennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth and the county responded by honoring his legacy in many different ways. Please join us for a fascinating look at how many of the Norfolk “Ladies” celebrated this beloved American hero. This year’s historic house dinner is being held at Fernwood, the beautiful Arts and Crafts residence built for Miss Elizabeth Farnam by Alfredo Taylor. Ann Havemeyer, curator, will give a presentation on the topic following an elegant seated dinner in the Fernwood dining room. Tickets are $250 per person, space is limited so please sing up early to secure a reservation.
