Church of the Transfiguration
In 1893 Frederick M. Shepard donated property for an Episcopal chapel for summer worship. Designed by New York architect Bruce Price in 1894, the church is an example of the Shingle Style. The walking tour continues along Shepard Road, named for this benefactor of the town.
